Broadcast

TVs, radios, gramophones with records and car radios for RedM. Every player sees the same frame and hears the same moment of a track, because everything plays on the server clock.

Features

• TV sets. Period films on channels: westerns, comedy, fantasy and early cinema. Up to four TVs near a player show a picture at once.
• Radio stations. Recordings from 1901 to 1925: Classic, Ragtime & Jazz, Popular Vocal, Band & Instrumental and World, about four hours each.
• Cathedral radio. Place it, tune it and set the volume.
• Car radio. In the AR16 cars or in any vehicle. Passengers hear it inside, people nearby hear it outside.
• Gramophone with records. Records are inventory items. A record plays a station track or any mp3 or ogg link from the config.
• 3D sound. It fades with distance, comes from the device and is muffled behind walls. Up to eight sources play at once.
• Placing from an item. Devices land on tables and shelves, can be moved and turned, go back into the inventory and are saved on the server.
• Your own menus. The built-in prompts, keys and record menu can be switched off. Exports cover every action, and Config.CanUse decides who may use a device.

Free Channels and Stations

TV channels and radio stations come free in two packages in the store: Broadcast TV Channels (ar16_tv_westerns, ar16_tv_comedy, ar16_tv_fantasy, ar16_tv_early) and Broadcast Radio Stations (ar16_radio_classic, ar16_radio_ragtime, ar16_radio_vocal, ar16_radio_band, ar16_radio_world). Start only the ones you need. The films and recordings are public domain.

Controls

• TV: E on or off, Y next channel.
• Radio: E on or off, Y next station, + / - volume.
• Gramophone: E choose a record or stop it, + / - volume.
• Car radio: J on or off,, /. station, + / - volume.

Requirements

• RedM with OneSync.
• Models included, spawn names: ar16_tv01 to ar16_tv05, ar16_radio01, ar16_gramophone01.
• Works with VORP, RSG, QBR, RedEM:RP, ox_inventory or without a framework.
• Resource name: ar16_broadcast
